No Cameras Needed

.

A Blue Nova

. One would think that all that would be needed to prove such a beauty as an exploding nova of the heavens is a camera. But at the time a certain nova spilled out into the heavens, no cameras were available.

Instead architectural design was something that was done based on memory or just plain design sense.. The picture here is an architectural rendering. The author who photographed this ceiling could not understand the Moslem emphasis or interest in the "dissolution of matter".It looks much like the death of a blue nova.

The next picture is an actual picture taken through a telescope within the last ten years by the Palomar Observatory at Caltech.. The architectural picture (above) is blurred deliberately. The picture of the Persei Nova is not. Yet the similarity is there. Did the architects of the ceiling in the Alhambra see a similar nova? Where else can one find ceilings that are similar filled with strange units that appear to be dripping down from emply spaces in the concave ceiling?
