Caiman
. . . . the caiman which is the earth monster not a volcano
Answer: Farmlands on the sides of volcanoes in Mexico and Central
America are farmed in rows and look very much like the scored backs of the
caiman
(crocodiles). Meso-Americans did look to the natural elements in their lives
for their imagery.
From Mexico comes this commentary: "Our links with other brother cultures
will be fortified is we follow the same principles that our great-grandparents
followed: respect and learn from Mother Nature." Lic. M.E.R.M.
