West Panel
This is the first year that Kathryn Josserand and Nick Hopkins ran the Beginners Maya Glyph classes at the XXVIth Maya Hieroglyphic Forum at Texas on March 7 through March 15, 2002 with their determinedly "no-nonsense" manner. This method of teaching has been successful for the many years.
I attended this class for the second time and was fortunate to get the East panel that held some of the "Lady Beastie" information. I was put on the
Temple of the Inscriptions, the East Panel. I am still pretty green even now, after this session ended, but it was quite an adventure!
