A poem to determine the Christian beginnings of months which continually repeats (returns forever).
Fasten your fence and understand his word and you will find it; the beauty of splendor, also its wonder
February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December
Says I, "Daniel, the Younger, the priest [say] now I come to instruct you in wisdom with this powerful hand, with a broad and full explanation so that all who want to engage in its work [run with it] can read into it in an easy, clear manner fully explained
A small child leading them [In} everything that should be known. For in the seasons we begin from "Nisan" according to the opinion of Rabbi "Joshua" as aforementioned and after it, the season of Tammuz; and after it, the season of Tishri; and after it, the season of Tevet; and you must know how many years you are from the great cycle [of 28]
as Because in that the sun continually returns to the beginning of her creation in the season of "Nisan" at the beginning of the eve of the 4th day; and in them the circuit of the sun goes through four seasons of the year as they were. And afterward, if you want to know, i.e., the season of Nisan comes at the beginning of the cycle.

The poem of the finger units reads as follows:
The Paths of the sun and routes of her times,
In the season of her boundaries search for her glories;
The memory of the truth in the wisdom of her fences;
Be wise and ask in the times of her nobles
Great is the learning of her scholars and her learned ones;
Then in wisdom grow powerful knowledge of her
And abundance of bright light shine for her.
Translated (and roots) by Danny Matt
The phrase "Fasten your fence and understand his word and you will find it; the beauty of splendor, also its wonder" is another of the keys to understanding the YAD. It appears to refer to the doctrine of Sufism.
The tightly closed bud of perplexity will open
if given the right conditions into the flower
of wonderment. (Lings, p. 73)
The Persian mystic Shihabuddin Yahya Suhrawardi (Died 1191) discussed an Aztec concept found in the "The Birth of the Fifth Sun", ". . . the bursting forth of the column of dawn" as it is found in the Eurasian story of Hermes. (Corbin, p. 85)

Moses Maimonides, in his Guide for the Perplexed, does not say that that story of creation is false, but he does say that the story of Hermes is false (3,29, p.329). The talmudic injunction prevented him from revealing the secrets of the Scripture, but it did not prevent him from referring to the same concepts in other doctrines. He made a second statement in his Guide that Genesis was an invented section, not the real thing.

The above quote from the Sufi axioms appears to verify the fact that the Guide for the Perplexed was the "flower of learning" that would eventually be revealed.

It is here that the Chinese sign language confirms the concept presented by Abraham Zacuto. In Chinese signing, the closed fingers which point to the forehead form a "tight bud of a flower", and then opens into the spread out fingers, palm outwards as the opening "flower." The concept in Chinese is "perplexity," as the closed bud of a flower[mind], indicates lack of knowledge but as knowledge emerges and "comprehension" results, the bud becomes the "flower of intelligence"

In order to save the information being destroyed, the Hebrews had to use every means at their disposal. . . no matter how far-fetched it might be to the European mind-set. The China sojourn was just part of the journey and made possible, one more item the Inquisition would know nothing about. The rest is found with their children. See The YAD of the Children: III
